The World Future Council organised the world's biggest contest on scaling up Agroecology. 20,000 experts from all over the world were contacted to nominate the most exemplary policies for the Future Policy Award. They received 51 policies from 25 countries from all continents that advance sustainable agriculture and food systems. Among the selected city policies are also RUAF cities.
This year’s Future Policy Award is focusing on policies scaling up agroecology: Policies that contribute to the protection of life and livelihoods of small-scale food producers, ensure sustainable food production systems and implement climate-resilient agricultural practices.
