Andrew Adam-Bradford Over the last decade, urban agriculture has played a steadily increasing role in improving the quality of life for people affected by HIV/Aids. Already in 2004, RUAF, together with CTA and Abalimi Bezekhaya, organised the first international urban agriculture and HIV/Aids workshop in South Africa entitled Gardens of Hope: Urban Micro-Farming as a Complementary Strategy for Mitigation of the HIV/Aids Pandemic
